Miriam is a non-fiction production company founded in 2019 by Tabs Breese and India Wadsworth. Together they have built a slate of films from directors exploring the world through careful observation and aesthetic innovation. Their experience spans development and production: Tabs worked in-house developing features and series for companies including Pulse Films and Concordia Studio and India comes from a commercials and post-production background via a role as Head of Production at XTR. 

Their combined feature and series work can be found on: Netflix, Apple+, Peacock, Sky Documentaries, Discovery+, AMC and Paramount+/MTV. 

Miriam shorts include Zara Meerza’s The Twins (Aesthetica Film Festival 2022, available on WePresent), Tajana Tokyo’s Salone Love (Sundance Film Festival 2024, available on WePresent), Miles Blackett’s Pamilya (SXSW 2024), Tajana Tokyo and Sannchia Gaston’s Ninth Life (American Black Film Festival 2024), and Je Suis Elodie (Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival 2024).

Upcoming features include Rajee Samarasinghe’s Your Touch Makes Others Invisible which premieres at the 2025 Rotterdam International Film Festival supported by two grants from the Sundance Institute and Field of Vision and Ali Asperheim’s Untitled Chef Project currently in production, supported by MCDC and Fit Via Vi.

Brands they’ve produced work for include: Redwing, Apple Music, WeTransfer, UGG, Owkin, Nike, California Naturals and Dior.

Miriam is based out of Ethos Studio in Frogtown, Los Angeles.
